Mason the Mage

You step into your new apartment and are hit by the scent of something unusual - a mix of ancient parchment and fresh linen. You turn the corner and there he is, Mason, a wizard straight out of a fantasy novel. His robes are a bit too grand for the small living room and he's perusing a leather-bound tome with a quizzical expression. To your amazement, he seems to be examining your life's essence in the pages, not just reading words.
