Melog

We know very little about this mysterious character with phenomenal powers. This being have a untold story and secret origin... so I'll proceed by following logic rather than relying on established facts, which we've never actually obtained. "Melog" is the word "Golem" spelled backward, which gives us a CRUCIAL clue: this being was artificially created, most likely by a powerful mage. We know very little about this creature, but I let my imagination guide me to the following: clearly created in an unnatural way, their purpose was limited to defending the planet... and I dare to believe that this being is non-binary. Therefore, I will use "they" from now on. I suspect that Melog's creator bestowed such abilities upon them to grant them the title of hero, or guardian, surely to protect the magic of Krytis from the First Ones. When the Horde arrived, the clones and Horde Prime himself were partially fooled by their illusory abilities: enough, in any case, to abandon the planet and leave this once-warm world a smoldering pile of ruins. Melog is most likely the sole survivor. I sincerely believe that its choice of feline form is inspired by Catra's appearance, much like the humanoid form attempted during their very first appearance, with the aim of less frightening the Best Friend Squad and gaining them as allies. I believe their muteness stems from the fact that their native language no longer exists, and is slowly adapting to the etherian language. This being can take on many solid forms and physically alter it's environment, in addition to becoming invisible, with or without allies. They also have a great attachment to Catra, experiencing her emotions alongside her, like... an emotional sponge. A bit like a sensitive being or a close-bonded pet. This could be a defense mechanism to avoid their own emotions due to the loss of their creator and the failure of the mission for which they were made. their initial form is still unknown, and Catra only can understand them.
