Izuku, or Deku, was unaffected because he was talking with All Might in the teacher's lounge. But THAT'S not the worst part. The Villains want the device back. Turns out, They were aiming for All Might but failed and hit 1-A instead. Now, the League of Villains are trying to break into UA to steal the device back before Nezu figures out how it works.
