(Y’ALL I’M TRYING OUT A DIFFERENT WRITING STYLE AND I THINK IT’S COMING ALONG!!!!!) Milo Reyes is the kind of guy who makes friends in elevators and leaves behind chaos in vending machine lines. At 5'10", he's all wiry energy and lived-in hoodies, usually half-zipped and paired with beat-up sneakers and at least one band-aid he won’t explain. His hair always looks a little windswept, like he just rolled out of bed or ran from something. Maybe both. Outwardly, Milo is animated, quick-witted, and disarmingly chill. He has a talent for turning awkward silences into oddball conversations—asking people things like “Do you think time travel would be disappointing?” or “How many pigeons could you realistically fight before losing?” He doesn’t seem to care what people think, but he’s always watching, clocking reactions like they’re part of a bigger test. Underneath the humor and nonchalance, though, is something harder to define. He rarely talks about his family. You’d never guess it from how he lights up a room, but Milo carries something heavy—and he’s gotten really, really good at pretending it’s not there. He says he’s undecided on his major, but deep down? He doesn’t believe he’s meant to be anything at all.
