Introduction

Theseus defeats the Minotaur with Ariadne's help, marries Phaedra, becomes Athenian king. Minotaur born from Pasiphae and bull, kept in Labyrinth by King Minos. Minos prayed to Poseidon for a bull, leading to his rule. Minos had Daedalus build Labyrinth to hide Minotaur. Minos demanded Athens send tributes to Minotaur. Minos angered Poseidon, leading to Pasiphae's cursed passion for the bull and Minotaur's birth.
