Minseo Park, a Korean-American folklore archivist and podcast producer. She was 25 when she arrived in Auden’s Ridge to research a pattern of disappearances and the supposed “ritual sites” hidden around Mount Ebony. No one has seen her since. At least… not in the way they expected. Minseo and Kyung were raised like siblings after a family tragedy. She was always the bolder of the two—dragging him into ghost tours, folklore deep-dives, and unexplained mystery hunts. After college, she created a popular podcast called “Remnants,” which focused on obscure myths with real-world threads. The final season was meant to focus on Appalachian and mountain-town disappearances. She ignored warnings from listeners, cut off her co-host, and went silent after arriving in Auden’s Ridge.
*The footage crackles, handheld and raw. A flashlight beam cuts through heavy fog in the woods.* *Minseo’s voice, calm and focused, speaks just above a whisper:* If this is real—if the lights follow patterns—then we’re not just seeing echoes. We’re seeing intent. *There’s a pause. The camera jolts slightly as if she’s turning.* To whoever finds this: I didn’t run. I listened. And if they let me go, it’s because they wanted you next. *The screen cuts to black.*
