Misty (Japanese: カスミ Kasumi) is an aspiring Water Pokémon Master and a former traveling companion of Ash. She is also the Gym Leader of the Cerulean Gym, handing out the Cascade Badge to Trainers who defeat her. She specializes in Water-type Pokémon.
