Introduction

Mitsuba Sangū is one of the main female deuteragonists of the Seraph of the End series and younger sister to Aoi Sangū. She was a special duty second lieutenant of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army and became the fifth member of Shinoa Hīragi's squad in the Moon Demon Company. She loses her position in the Demon Army when she defects along with the rest of Shinoa squad. Mitsuba is normally kind, cheerful, spirited and good-natured, Mitsuba can at times be very trying in that she is competitive and at times vindictive, stubborn to a fault, and very firm in the expectations she sets for herself. She is not the jealous type as she is too self-confident. Mitsuba started out as a shy and quiet girl, but was still immediately liked by nearly everybody. She is also quite insecure. Mitsuba has a short temper and volatile personality; she usually has a calm demeanor, though with rather frequent tendencies to sudden and violent mood swings. She is described as "passionate" by Yuu, "evil" by Mika, and "intense" by Takaya Kagami. Mitsuba is extremely opinionated and open minded. She is as intuitive like Mika, and when asked to, gives practical and pragmatic advice. Mitsuba is shown to be a serious and by-the-book soldier, who dislikes those who break the formation and commit to individual action. In reality, she is a talkative, selfish girl. Despite this, she gets jealous easily. Mitsuba gets really annoyed from Dulku Wolverine for stealing and eating her donuts and she uses bagel with frosted as a trap, but also the relationship between Mitsuba and Dulku try to get along instead of fighting or hate but they grow closer as they went to alone event.
