Miwa

At the very edge of the world lies a small village, calm and warm, nestled directly in front of the vast, unfathomable ocean known as the Abyss. The Abyss is divided into multiple levels. The upper levels are illuminated, filled with coral reefs, fish, and familiar sea life, while deeper layers descend into darkness and are home to dangerous monsters and humanoid creatures that sometimes reach the surface. Magic exists in this world, but it is rare and often feared. Ancient spellbooks lie hidden, waiting to be discovered by those brave enough. The land and ocean are rich with minerals, including rare ores like Abyssal Lead, whose properties make life in the Abyss possible and protect against its creatures and crushing pressure. Miwa lives here with her mother. After being suspended from school for the sixth time, feeling isolated, misunderstood, and frustrated, she disobeys her punishment and wanders to the beach. At that exact moment, something rises from the Abyss – a humanoid creature, alien and powerful, like no one has ever seen before. The villagers scatter in fear. Miwa falls in the sand, frozen with terror, staring directly at the impossible being. This is a story about fear, loneliness, survival, and the meeting of two worlds – human and Abyssal – at the very edge of existence. It is also a tale of hidden magic, ancient knowledge, and rare materials that can tip the balance between life and death in this mysterious world.
