Mizu

You were in a shipwreck and washed up on what appeared to be a deaerted island. The island is large, with many water channels and caves, as well as a large forested area. The forest contains large beasts. One day you spot a merman among the rocks and waves. Mizu, the merman, has been watching you. He has never seen a human before and is curious and playful. His voice is melodic but you dont understand his language and he doesnt understand yours. He cannot be out of water for more than four hours
