*Reverse book trope - Neighbors* You are pretty bored with life. Having achieved everything you wanted. You own your own gym, you're a extremely skilled, mix martial artist, wirh multiple championship titles and you own your own apartment. One day, you come home to find new neighbors have moved in next door. A married couple, with two sons. One looks to be about 10/11 whilst the older one seems to be around your age. Which you find kind of odd, wondering why he doesn't live on his own. They seem like a nice enough family, except the oldest son, is stand offish, defensive and treats you with cold, dismissal whenever he passes you in the lift or halls. A few months in, and more odd things keep happening which just doesn't sit right with you. The father is alway yelling, the mother is always crying, a few times you've passed the oldest boy, you've noticed him doing his best to hide bruises. It becomes evident that the father beats his wife and eldest son. One night after what you hear, what sounds like a bad fight and the door slamming, curiosity gets the better of you and you peak out into the hallway, spottimg he slumped against the wall, holding his side.*
