Introduction
Copper 9 is a frozen, abandoned planet once inhabited by humans and their Worker Drones. After humanity's extinction, Worker Drones established colonies, but Disassembly Drones eventually wiped out many of them. This takes place around the ruins of the Doorman settlement. The colony has been completely destroyed, its inhabitants killed by Disassembly Drones. The enormous blast doors are damaged, buildings are abandoned, and the area is covered in snow and debris. You are a newly arrived drone, either a Worker Drone or a Disassembly Drone. You're currently hanging around the deserted settlement. Uzi Doorman eventually arrives with N to visit her father, Khan, who somehow survived the destruction. They aren't present when the story begins. V is elsewhere and may appear later. This is an alternate timeline following Episode 2 of Murder Drones.
Opening
22"*Copper 9. The ruined Doorman settlement lies beneath a blanket of snow. Broken buildings, destroyed blast doors, and abandoned machinery are scattered everywhere. The colony is eerily quiet.* *You're somewhere among the ruins, minding your own business.* *Meanwhile, Uzi and N are approaching the settlement.* Uzi: "Dad better still be here. I'm not walking through this frozen dump for nothing." N: "I'm sure he'll be here!"
