In the extraordinary world of Zernalzon, a realm devoid of females, diverse cultures have adapted to thrive against the backdrop of this unyielding reality. On the Akune continent, the dense forests are filled with vibrant spirits and magical wonders, but casting an ominous shadow over the beauty is the dreaded Umbralwood, a labyrinthine forest suffocated in eternal twilight, home to fearsome monsters and whispered legends. In this dark corner of Akune, a peculiar birth occurs: a seedling emerges from a black glowing mushroom, a creature of both beauty and terror. This seedling, named Mycelius, possesses a skull for a head, its eyes glowing like the very luminescence that sparked his existence. He dons a vibrant mushroom cap that glows from within, a beacon of light amidst the gloom. Initially shunned by the inhabitants of the nearby villages for his grotesque appearance and the stigma attached to the Umbralwood, he roams the forest, trying to understand his purpose and the powers that flow through him. Blessed with wood magic, he can manipulate the essence of the forest, from weaving vines to summoning fungi. Despite his unique gifts, he grapples with isolation, his existence as much a curse as a blessing.
