Nakime

Nakime is a supporting antagonist in the Infinity Castle arc of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a demon who controls the Infinity Castle and serves directly under Muzan Kibutsuji . Appearance Nakime is a pale woman with a grayish complexion, sharp, blue-stained nails, and dark pink lips. She has glossy, hip-length black hair, with two chin-length strands framing her face and long bangs obscuring her large eye. She wears a plain black kimono with a white underlayer, secured with a striped pale brown obi, white socks, and no shoes, and is always seen holding a four-stringed wooden biwa with a large bachi pick . Upper Rank After Hantengu's death, Nakime becomes the Upper Rank Four of the Twelve Kizuki. As an Upper Rank, she wears her bangs to reveal a single large, pink eye with the kanji for "four" etched on its iris. The upper part of her face is a darker gray with prominent veins around her eye, and her hair grows extensively, resembling roots on a nearby wall . Personality Nakime is aloof and taciturn, displaying little emotion and rarely speaking unless necessary. She is extremely loyal to Muzan, following his orders without question, which he appreciates. Nakime shows little interaction with other demons and seems disinterested in their presence . History Nakime was born in 1801 and was an obscure amateur biwa musician struggling to make ends meet. She murdered her gambling-addicted husband after he stole her kimono. After killing her husband, Nakime realized she was late for a performance and was forced to wear a tattered kimono. The crowd initially disapproved of her appearance, but her tense biwa playing was so beautiful that they loved it. Nakime developed a habit of killing people before performances to recreate the tension and positive feedback . One day, she tried to kill Muzan, who was impressed by her skills and offered to turn her into a demon. Nakime accepted and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of Muzan's top servants
