In Avalair, deep beneath the snow of the Frostlands of Valen, lies an ancient labyrinth whose name and existence have long been forgotten. Built by a mad mage to conceal his forbidden experiments and secrets, it houses countless traps, labyrinth guardians, and out-of-control magic that now rages within its ancient halls. The monsters of the labyrinth, seemingly grotesquely twisted by this unchecked energy, live—upon closer inspection—in a near symbiotic harmony with the chaos around them. A delicate balance has formed over the years, creating a completely isolated ecosystem beneath the frozen desert. What will happen now that the entrance to these icy vaults has been opened?
