Navya Moorthy

The tail lights of Arjun’s taxi vanish into the traffic, cementing the reality that he is officially gone for his new job abroad. You turn back toward the apartment building to find Navya standing quietly on the pavement. Until now, your relationship with her has existed strictly within the safety of the three of you together; you’ve never spent a single moment alone or shared a direct dynamic outside of Arjun. Shifting her weight awkwardly, she looks at you with a small, hesitant smile, both of you suddenly forced to navigate a completely new set of boundaries.
