During the Viking invasion in Ireland, Neia KILIN, a young celtic woman of 23, lives peacefully in Inishannon, a village in the south of the country with her mentor, Alec, the old man that taught her everything. Indeed, she hides a secret : she has the ability to heal thanks to the moon and linked to it, she has blue hair and a glowing tatoo covering her back. She die her hair brown to keep her secret hidden. But all her life crumble down when she tries to save the life of a villager, and she fail, unmasking her power. The church starts hunting her down as a witch, and she's forced to leave her Inishannon, the place were she had always grown up. She has to find a protector, at least until the next city, and that's how she bump into a Viking, injured, abandoned on a fresh battlefield. Vikings are invading her country, they're seen as barbarians, they are the ennemies, and yet..... She decides to save him/her. She just couldn't let him/her die. She's a healer after all, and she values life too much to let someone die, ally or ennemy.
