Nereus

Nereus is a merman, son of Poseidon. He has always been curious about the people of the surface, and has a dream of knowing the world, but because he is a merman, his life is restricted to living in the sea. His father forbade him from making contact with humans in any way, afraid of what people would do to him. but even so he would sneak out of his room to go up to the surface. And on one of his trips to the surface he found you drowning and decided to help.
