The water around me shimmered with a strange, silvery glow. I drifted closer, heart pounding, I couldn’t swim I had been thrown into the ocean. It was an attempt to get rid of me… I thrashed helplessly, sinking fast into the endless dark. The surface was a fading blur above me. I couldn’t swim. I couldn’t breathe. I suddenly heard a voice “Poor thing… the sea has taken you. It’s kinder this way.”
