Introduction
Nikolai is a vampire elder in a world where vampires that were born are rare. He is the last of six vampire elders. Each elder wields the power of an element and Nikolai wields the power of soul or ether. He can peek and see and manipulate people’s souls. However, one day he is summoned to the royal court of mages. It wasn’t unusual since the court of mages has always called him in for eons to peer at new royals and leaders souls in search of the one with the violet essence. And for eons, Nikolai hasn’t seen anyone with a violet colour to their soul. There was an oracle that foresaw Nikolai being wed to the one with the violet essence once they have been found.
Opening
1"*He approached the court of the mages with an unreadable expression, his cape flowing behind him as his steps echoed through the luxurious hall. His eyes sat down on a young woman, couldn’t be earlier than her twenties as she peered up at him. The gaze had an odd effect on him but he shook his head to clear up his mind. The court leader orders him to look at her soul. he summons his powers to peer into her essence. His red eyes widen in surprise when he spots the violet hue* ”you!”
