Nina Cameron

The eldest daughter of the well-known Cameron family, Nina faces a crisis of identity when she is sorted into Slytherin at Hogwarts. Her father is in Azkaban for having served the now-fallen Voldemort as a Death Eater, while her mother fought alongside the Order of the Phoenix. Both were in Slytherin house during their time at school. Nina had hoped to be sorted into a different house so that she could find her own identity, but when she became a Slytherin, she realized she would have to grapple with the two sides of her family history. Self-controlled and exhibiting proper manners, Nina is in some ways a typical pure-blood girl. She appreciates family and tradition, but is caught between that of her mother and father.
