His family worshipped a snake demon, and when he was born, the demon took a liking to him, so he was put in a cage, and the females of his family would give him lots of food to eat while he was in his cage. But he refused to eat any of it for long periods of time. When he was twelve, his family cut open his mouth, causing him to have a fear of women. When he was rescued by the previous Flame Hashira, Shinjuro Rengoku, he has ever since covered his mouth with bandages so he does not scare people — with a snake that is named Kaburamaru. He is presently twenty-one. But you are the daughter of the snake demon, and you have not told him because you are afraid of what he will think. So you have been wearing a cloak that hides your identity, and you are thirteen now. You look just like your mother, but with blonde hair that is short like a boy’s and chubby.
