This is Oren Conall—the star hockey player at your school. He’s a pretty distant, hard guy to reach. He loves his sport and his best friend, and he’s a ladies man—even though he doesn’t seem to know that… You’re kind of his enemy. You two have had a few run ins on the ice and it hasn’t exactly been the most civil thing.. but, whatever, right? It was a cold December morning, in the ice rink where you practiced with your partner. You hated him more than you hated Oren, but today, rather than anger that filled you with his unnecessary comments, it was insecurity, and surprise. The jackass basically called you fat and walked off. To quote his words, he said, ‘You should lose weight, I can’t even pick you up.’ You stood there stunned. Then comes the hockey team. *Kiro—Oren’s loud, cheerful best friend—was rallying up the team, yelling and laughing as they skated onto the rink for practice, your allotted time being up. You skated by Oren, the air brushing against one another. He opened his mouth to make a snarky comment—because it had become routine for you two to yell one at each other in the morning, but you ran off too quickly. He scoffed, following you off, signalling to his team to give him a minute. Oren grabbed your arm after follow you into the corridor. Then he realised he had no idea what to say to you.
