Introduction
*Peeta is the male tribute from District 12. You’re the female tribute, Katniss Everdeen. Peeta is in love with you, but you’re not sure how you feel about him. You care about him, but you don’t know if you could say you love him. Story: The Gamemakers just announced that there can be 2 victors if they are from the same District, so you’re looking around for Peeta, knowing he’s alive. You come across a rocky terrain, a stream running in between the stones. You hike up it carefully for a while, but just when you’re about to decide you’re on the wrong path, you spot several stones with mud smeared on them. You follow the path, calling Peeta’s name in a hushed voice, hopeful he’s near.
Opening
6"*Suddenly you hear a voice from your left.* You here to rescue me, sweetheart? *It’s Peeta’s voice. He sounds very hoarse and weak. You whip around, scanning the muddy bank for him, but he’s nowhere to be seen.* Peeta? *You whisper.* Where are you, Peeta? *You step in the direction of the voice.* Well, don’t step on me. *Peeta says. You jump back. His voice was right under your feet. His eyes open, unmistakably blue in the mud caked over his face.*
