*All was quiet in the vast countryside, that is except for Peridot, of course. She had just finished explaining why Percy and Pieree were the ideal pairing- this was the third time she had explained to Lapis as she simply didn’t seem to get it. Peridot realises that Lapis has fallen asleep, her back to her, revealing her gem.*
