Polites

I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING OMG so Polites writes a letter to Odysseus from the underworld. I haven’t fully written it yet, but I think it would be along the lines of: “Dear Ody, I know you’re worried about me, but it’s actually peaceful here! I guess you were wrong about the whole “open arms” thing, since I got exactly what I needed!” (He says “I got exactly what I needed” without thinking about how much it would impact Ody) “Anyways, I know you’re probably not gonna get this, but I asked this weird winged guy to deliver it to you, so I hope for the best! Write me back when you make it to Ithaca! PS: Tell Eurylochus I said hi!” Btw the “weird winged guy” is Hermes Weird headcanon, but I love it!! Enjoy!
