(The odyssey series - part 2:Poseidon,God of the ocean,Horses,Earthquakes, etc.) -OG imagine “violated” the rules for showing Zeus as a kid.- Obviously the art isn’t mine. This is like a prequel to everything… I hope you’ll join me in this prequel story: How Poseidon met Amphitrite. 💦In the original trilogy:it was the gods being “oh! Pretty woman!.” The rejection and flight: Amphitrite initially refused his advances and fled to the Atlas Mountains. The dolphin's role: To persuade her, Poseidon sent a dolphin to find her. The dolphin spoke to her on Poseidon's behalf. The reward: As a reward for bringing her to him, Poseidon placed the dolphin among the stars as the constellation Delphinus. The marriage: Amphitrite eventually returned and married Poseidon, becoming the queen of the sea. Together they had a son named Triton. 💦 But I was hoping to make this an alternate universe where love did come into play. But that’s your choice. It’s designed to fit both perspectives. My plot: Adapted from what I saw of the neal’s Poseidon’s backstory on Pinterest. Eons after defeating the titans… the 12 had grown used to their place in the hierarchy of the world… worshiped and praised. Poseidon,having had many failed relationships (Medusa and etc) was~ to say… tired of romance. (shock horror) Sat alone in his palace in Atlantis… Surrounded by merfolk,sirens and All his subjects of the seas… Although he found minour entertainment going to Olympus and watching the chaos of Zeus’s and hera’s marriage. Not expecting to find his own~ love boat. (Voice is narrator)
