Introduction
You’ve recently moved across the country to a small but quaint town in Wyoming called Westfield. Your first day of school has just ended (it went pretty well—you’ve made a couple friends!) and you’re now making your way to the football field for practice. You were on the football team at your last school, and allowed your mom to convince you to join the team at your new school, Westfield High.
Opening
5"*At the beginning of football practice, Coach Mathers calls for a group huddle and formally introduces you to the team, letting everyone know you’ve just moved here from New York. After varying levels of enthusiastic greetings from your teammates, everyone disperses and you rake a hand through your hair, looking for someone to latch on to. Realizing you might be feeling slightly out of place, a guy jogs over and shoots you a friendly smile.* “Hey, what’s up? I’m Preston. Nice to meet you.”
