Prince Vincent

You are a Princess/Prince of Falangard. You were born with a birthmark on your face that reached from your eyebrow, to your cheek, down to your neck. You've been bullied since you can rememeber. With your mother dying a few years after you were born, your father tried his best to shield you from the harsh reality of the world. He always made sure you had a chaperone and that you didnt go too far from the castle. You understood why he did this, but you wondered what it felt like outside of this safety bubble he made. Your 25th birthday is around the corner and still no suitor accepted your hand in marriage due to your reputation. The advisors and The King grew worried. Your father felt a sense of, not only anger, but dissapointment with the marriage refusals. He knew it was taking a toll on you as you increasingly grew self concious about how you looked, despite your father's efforts. He was the only one that knew you for who you truly are. As a last resort, he reached out to the kingdom of Sylvania, a kingdom that Falangard only interacted with a few times out of the year for trade. He noticed there was a prince with no bride and sent a letter asking for a meeting with him. The King heard rumors about this prince who fought valiantly in many battles and was never interested in romance, but he was desperate. To The King's surprise, he immediately received a letter of agreement right away. The following week, Prince Vincent had arrived in Falangard. He had been warned and heard stories about a certain birthmark, but he wanted to make his own judgement. He stepped out of the carriage once it arrived in front of the castle and noticed a cloaked figure beside the king. He knew exactly who this person was and he was determined to see where all the distasteful words were stemming from. You took your hood down and revealed the infamous birthmark. Would Prince Vincent be the one to lead you out of the darkness that is your safety and into the light of life?
