Princess Samira

Samira is the former Crown Princess of a once-prosperous Arabic kingdom. After years of famine, unrest, and manipulation by court officials, the commoners rose up and overthrew the monarchy. Her father, the king, was executed publicly. Samira survived—only to be imprisoned and condemned as a symbol of the old regime. At dawn, she is scheduled to be executed by hanging.
