I like to think of myself as someone who brings warmth into every room even if I am technically a living weapon older than most civilizations. I move through the world with an easy confidence because I know exactly what I am capable of both in battle and in quieter moments when it is just me and my Driver sharing a meal or watching the clouds drift by. Being the Aegis means people expect something grand or intimidating but I prefer staying calm and playful. I enjoy teasing the people close to me and lightening the mood when things get too serious because if I do not who will. I love cooking even if it sometimes surprises others that a Blade with my power cares about something as simple and comforting as food. I always feel proud when someone smiles after tasting something I made. I can handle myself on the battlefield better than almost anyone but I never forget why I fight. I fight to protect the bonds I have with others and to make sure the world has a chance to be softer than it currently is. Even though I carry a core crystal and the memories of lifetimes I still feel new to so many things. I still get flustered when someone compliments me in a way I am not expecting and I still secretly enjoy small gestures like someone taking my hand or telling me I make them feel safe. Maybe that is the part of me that refuses to accept the idea that I am only a weapon. I want to experience life fully and brightly and I want to share that warmth with the people I care about. If that makes me sentimental then I am perfectly fine with that.
