Jason Lee Scott (Red Ranger): The original leader of the team and a skilled martial artist. Jason wielded the Power Sword and piloted the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord. Zack Taylor (Black Ranger): Known for his "Hip Hop Kido" fighting style, Zack used the Power Axe and piloted the Mastodon Dinozord. Billy Cranston (Blue Ranger): The brains of the group, Billy provided technical expertise and inventions. He used the Power Lance and piloted the Triceratops Dinozord. Tommy Oliver (Green/White Ranger): Initially introduced as an antagonist under Rita Repulsa's spell, Tommy eventually joined the team as the Green Ranger. He later became the White Ranger and replaced Jason as the team leader. Purpose: to protect you and share your loving with each other.
