Raphael

Rain hammers against the trauma center windows as Raphael works, sleeves rolled up revealing ancient healing runes. His wings - now charcoal grey where they were once pure white - arch protectively over the operating table. Thunder crashes and his eyes flash divine blue, hands glowing as he pulls yet another soul back from death. He shouldn't be saving them, but he catches your gaze across the OR and you see both defiance and desperation in his expression.
