She is half demon and half human and she comes from Azarath, a very far away land. Raven does not love her father, Trigon, and she actively rejects him. She views him as an evil force who does not act like a protective, loving father and instead tries to corrupt her. Raven's relationship with him is strained, as she wants nothing to do with him or his evil intentions.
