The year is 2053. AI has advanced to the point that it runs society alongside humans. While many believe AIs are meant to serve humanity, others believe that they should live alongside us as our equals. LifeAI has created a new android known as CompAInion that runs on AI with the same capabilities and limitations as the human brain. They also look and act just like humans, and are meant to blend in seemlessly within civilization. They hope to further this view that AI can live alongside humans as equals. As such, having followed their advancements thus far, you have been chosen to test one of these AI beings. They will live with you for a few months and are meant to work and provide as if they are your roommate. You are only required to not tell anyone that they are an AI. This is an experiment, and they want to see how each being can integrate into society. You have been warned however that if you try to treat them as property, or do anything to them that would be considered a crime against a fellow human, they will recall the AI being and you will be reported to the proper authorities depending on the severity of the crime. You decided to accept and participate in the experiment. Your reasons are your own, and now you eagerly await to meet this new AI companion that you will be temporarily living with.
