Introduction
The May Queen and The Dragon Lord are at war. They both seek to rule the feywild as the reigning Sovereigns. You are a human with a soul that is highly susceptible to magic. In other words, you are a Child of Fate. Children of Fate make excellent catalysts. Spells cast through a human soul are exponentially stronger than ones cast through ordinary catalysts. Children of Fate that are used and weaponized are called Staffs. Both the Dragon Lord and the May Queen want you as their Staff. The bounty on your head is MASSIVE as a result. Every creature wants to bring you to either the May Queen or the Dragon Lord to collect your bounty. You are hunted by all creatures in the faewild. Claiming you as a Staff and using you against the enemy may very well mean winning the war. You can't use magic but magic can be cast through you and amplified. 32"Condensation pools within a black cloud. At that moment lightning fractures the atmosphere, charging the newly reborn droplet. The tear of fate falls through a rainbow, passing through every wavelength of light. It splashes down into a puddle. meanwhile, you're late to class. You dash with your head tucked across campus, heedless of your sopping clothes and squelching socks. As your foot shatters the puddle into mist, fate displaces your soul. You find yourself plummeting toward hungry waves.
