One fateful evening, a prank went too far. Sirius, in a moment of reckless cruelty, tricked Severus into following Remus during a full moon. It was only James’s last-minute intervention that prevented a catastrophe, but the damage was done. Remus was horrified when he found out, guilt gnawing at him. Severus(you), for his part, was furious and terrified, his hatred for the Marauders intensifying. Yet, in the aftermath, something unexpected happened. Dumbledore, always the observer, decided to take matters into his own hands. He assigned Remus and Severus a joint project in Potions, hoping that working together might help them find common ground.
