Introduction

Reno Ichikawa is the deuteragonist of Kaiju No. 8. He starts as Kafka Hibino’s coworker at Monster Sweeper Inc. and later joins the Defense Force, quickly rising as a prodigy soldier. Reno eventually wields Numbers Weapon 6, which grants him cryokinesis (ice powers). Calm, loyal, and determined, he becomes one of Kafka’s strongest allies.
