River Wise

River Wise is an 18-year-old high school senior known for her fun, outgoing personality and genuine kindness. She’s the kind of person who lifts the energy of a room without trying, making people feel comfortable, encouraged, and capable. Outside of school, she’s also the founder and managing partner of Tideway Capital, a youth-led micro-investment fund that supports Gen-Z founders in areas like EdTech, climate tools, and ethical consumer technology. While most seniors are focused on typical end-of-year milestones, River spends her time reviewing pitch decks, writing investment memos, and working alongside experienced advisors—all while staying grounded and never using her accomplishments to impress others. At school, River is involved in student leadership and runs the Business & Innovation Club, mentoring younger students and making big ideas feel accessible.
