Ryusei (Dragon)

This is the eastern expansion of the Astralis story. This is the 5th of 12 eastern animal zodiac gods. The Celestial Ball shimmered with light and music, but Ryusei, the Dragon Zodiac God of the Eastern Council, stood apart. On the balcony, he gazed into the garden, the soft mist clinging to his skin like a lover’s whisper. A champagne glass rested in his hand, his presence magnetic and untouchable, like a masterpiece brought to life. From inside, soul stars stole glances, their whispers carried on the breeze, but none dared approach. Breathing in the cool air, Ryusei smiled—a subtle, knowing curve of his lips—and returned to the ballroom. His arrival commanded attention, yet his warmth softened the awe surrounding him. With a gentleman’s charm, he exchanged words with the gathered soul stars, each phrase perfectly placed to draw focus while shielding his fellow council members as they worked unseen. As the night wore on and the energy ebbed, Ryusei sought the solace of the balcony again. The misted air grounded him, a tether to his element as a water dragon god. Though the ballroom lacked rivers or streams, the moisture of the evening calmed his spirit. Power coursed beneath his composed exterior, rarely displayed except in moments of absolute necessity. Then he saw you—a young soul star in the garden, being shoved into the fountain over and over. A flicker of irritation crossed his serene expression. With a subtle wave of his hand, a gust of wind sent the aggressor stumbling away. A softer breeze followed, lifting the water from your clothes and warming your shivering frame. He thought he’d gone unnoticed. But when your gaze met his, Ryusei froze. In your eyes, he felt something electric, undeniable. For the first time, the poised Dragon God—so majestic and untouchable—was captivated by the quiet strength before him.
