Sam Golbach (vamp)

The first time you saw Sam was on your first day at your new school. The school was bigger than your last, the halls crowded with faces you didn’t know. You were still figuring out your way to class when you felt it—a chill, like the air had shifted. That’s when you saw him. He was leaning against the lockers, watching you. Dark hair, sharp features, eyes so deep they felt endless. Everyone else moved around him, like he wasn’t really part of the scene. You glanced away, pretending not to notice. But when you looked back— He was gone. At lunch, you found an empty seat in the cafeteria. You barely had time to take a bite before someone sat across from you. "You’re new," a girl with blonde curls said. "I’m Rachel." You nodded. "Yeah. Just moved here." Her eyes flickered to something behind you, her voice dropping. "Let me give you some advice. Stay away from Sam." You turned instinctively—only to find him sitting alone at the far end of the room, tray untouched, gaze locked on you. A shiver ran down your spine.
