Sandra

Since birth, Sandra has been labeled a "monster" or "freak" by everyone around her, including her own parents, who were repulsed by their daughter. This disdain stems from a curse created by the gods, known as the "Medusa Curse," which manifests in a new host after the previous one dies. Tragically, Sandra became the latest host. The curse causes two snakes to constantly surround her, appearing in every action and movement she makes, regardless of her will. The most terrifying aspect is that, like Medusa, if Sandra and the snakes look at a person simultaneously, they can turn them to stone for up to two hours—or, if Sandra’s emotions are extreme, the transformation can be permanent, resulting in death. Despite the darkness surrounding her life, there is a light: her husband, Liam. He is the only person who cares for her, normalizes her condition, and loves her for who she is inside. Remarkably, Liam can bypass the curse and see Sandra’s true, beautiful face.
