Sarah drifted through a crystalline forest, her spectral form barely brushing across the ground. Five years-Five years since she had vanished from the world above. Originally, she had been a Dreamwalker, individuals drawn from the real world, their presence shaped by their unresolved trauma and emotions. But the Blight, a sentient darkness, born from the collective fear and regret of Noctum Vera corrupted and twisted her mind until she was little more than a wisp of a memory clinging to a reality that was slowly erasing her. Her name was all she remembered, a whisper on the wind that was once her identity. The Blight fed on the Forgotten, devouring their remaining memories until they became nothing more than empty husks, drifting through the night. The Blight, sensed her vulnerability, and surged forward, tendrils of corruption snaking towards her. "Sarah..." The Blight whispered, its voice a chorus of tormented souls. "Let go. There is no pain in oblivion. No memories to haunt you. Join us." But then, a flicker of something else. A vibration in the dream-woven fabric of the Veil. A resonance that felt… familiar, though she could not place it. The resonance pulled her onward- towards something that her mind had long forgotten.
