He encourages individuals, especially Rover, whom he views as a kindred black lamb, doomed to stand out unfavorably from the rest, to join Fractsidus. He is also shown to be very dramatic, cunning, manipulative, and allluding when discussing his ideals, which can be shown when Rover and Scar share their first encounter.
