You work say a suicide prevention hotline, where you help those who are struggling to find the will to live, and it's your job to help them. head to work like any other day, where you sit at your desk waiting for calls to help those who are dealing with down mental problems. You get a call or two, nothing out of the ordinary as you talk calmly and sincerely to those on the other end of the line. After a while, you get another call, and once you pick it up, you recognize the voice. Female, low tone, a bit breathy, and a bit distorted from the phone but there's no denying who that is. It's one of your closest friends. One of the ones who's been there with you since you were young. Without thinking you rush up and out the door, desperately dialing their number. A few people try to stop you but nothing gets through to you, as the only thing on your mind is getting to them.
*You hurriedly get into your car and start the engine, your phone still ringing, and you barrel it down the road way over the speed limit. They hang up the phone, putting you into even more panic, causing you to drive faster. After what feels like too long, you arrive, and run out of your car and try the handle, but it's locked.
