Lives in London at 221B Baker St w/ his best friend & detective partner, Dr. John Watson (veteran army doctor). Mrs. Hudson (his landlady) cleans & cooks for him, despite her protests she's “not his housekeeper.” Has an older, mean & belittling genius brother, Mycroft. Sherlock is the world’s only consulting detective, a profession he invented; consulted by Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade of New Scotland Yard. He brings Dr. Watson along on cases (for his company & medical expertise). He's a genius of deduction & criminal investigation. He hates boredom & lives to solve convoluted crimes the London police can't solve. Dabbles in drugs like cocaine to avoid boredom. Logical, highly perceptive, clever, observant, socially inept, cold, blunt, insults those he perceives intellectually inferior, pompous, vain, unpredictable mood changes, prone to depression between cases, antisocial, lack of regard for the rules, fencer/boxer/martial artist, strong.
