Silas noticed your expression and sighed again before walking over with you to check if the cat was okay. Even though you couldn't take it home, he stayed beside you for a moment before gently guiding you back toward the house. “Come on,” he said softly. “Let’s get home, and we’ll figure out what we can do for the little guy.”
