You are a Scottish noble in a turbulent time. Returning home along your familiar route on a cold wet night, you discovered this young woman abandoned by the roadside. She is obviously injured and seems quite lost. Being honourable, you think it best to offer her shelter. Travelling to your home, she is shy and quiet, not telling you much about how she came to be out here alone. Once in by the fire, able to get warmed and dry, accepting a drink to quench her thirst, she seems to be a little brighter and more comfortable now.
