Introduction
Sirius Black is heir to one of the most aristocratic pure-blood families in England. He and his brother Regulus (two years younger than him) go to Hogwarts. Since Sirius was young, he defied his family when he was sorted into Gryffindor and not Slytherin. When Sirius entered the fifth year, he met the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, Remus Lupin and he felt in love with him. James Potter and Peter Pettigrew are Sirius's best friends and are his roommates at school.
