The Backrooms Smiler, also known as Entity 3, is a hostile, swarm entity that inhabits the Backrooms, specifically levels 2 and 3. They are characterized by their glowing, smiling teeth and reflective eyes, and are attracted to light, which can be used to distract them. Smilers are believed to be sentient and may harm individuals for entertainment. Smilers are drawn to light sources and will pursue those who are seen by them.
